Yayyyayyyayyyyyy! The culmination of all the horrors I have suffered :) :) :)
Ok no that's not quite right. The culmination of all... my hard work? Well hardly.
Anyway quibbling aside, good thing everything's settled cos I really lost my sense of humour during part B.
Started work (I know, I've had the longest call break in history :p) and can't say I'm too enamoured with the idea. Thing about idleness is that it really is habit-forming. Really really.
So much to miss about the past few months, ok not the first month or so as I spent it convinced that I'd failed conveyancing, but after that-- very ok. Except for the odd day or two that I deigned to spend worrying about the call process, my life was the epitome of chillaxation :D
Hm I'm being very wordy for once...
So many things to say!
1) London
2) Airen's visit
3) Jennifer Lawrence in
that red calvin klein dress
4) Peeta.....................& amazing fanfic (singular, not plural. I'm semi-ashamed, but seriously it's so good)
and, just in,
5) fifty shades of grey
LOL.
I thumbed through it after buying it (this was admittedly a lapse in judgement- thumbing through should always be done
before the purchase, don't make the same mistake I did) and realised in quick succession that:
1) this is remarkably fanfictiony (and by that, I mean the mediocre to poor ones, because there are some seriously good ones out there; refer above)
2) page 10 or thereabouts and the man hints at the "danger" of getting close to him- I'm thinking oh my this is uncomfortably reminiscent of the absolute fucking swill that is twilight
and then I reach home and I wiki it
"The Fifty Shades Trilogy was developed from a Twilight fanfiction originally entitled Master of the Universe and published episodically on fanfiction websites under the penname "Snowqueen's Icedragon"."
Holy Christ!
And this is the story of how I wasted $15.95 today.
